Since starting to work at a beauty company, I’ve gotten a lot of skincare products. No seriously, if you ever come to my apartment, I will give you a gift bag of skincare products because there’s no way I’ll ever use them all. Since I have exposure to all these products, I’ve been trying to care more about having a skincare regime, and along the way, have discovered some great products that I use to keep my skin moisturized, smooth and glowing from my head to my toes.
You guys, this moisturizer is so amazing. I love how it makes my skin feel hydrated all day long. It’s so lightweight and creamy, and thankfully a little goes a long way. I will say, it’s initially alarming how liquid-y this is, and you do have to be conscious of how quickly you are opening the lid. I am also unsure if it’s worth its $65 price tag since I technically haven’t had to buy it yet, but I do feel it’s a great product and effective moisturizer. Keeps Me Hydrated: 9/10
Okay, I’ll admit it, this product is one of my favorites because of the smell. The horchata scent is SO good, like so good I have to stop myself from licking my fingers after I apply. In terms of the product itself, I do think it’s helping moisturize my cuticles, an area I have not taken care of in awhile. I have noticed less hangnails, etc. since I started using. It’s also vegan and cruelty free, extra bonus points! Worth the $18 price tag? Probably not, I would ideally pay no more than $12 for something like this. Keeps Me Hydrated: 7/10
This lotion is my absolute favorite thing, if you’re going to buy one thing off this post, buy this!!! The price tag is great at $18.50, I literally own 5 bottles of this (not joking) because I love how easily it rubs onto my skin, and leaves me feeling smooth and moisturized all day long. I’ve given to my mom, friends, boyfriend and they all say how much they love it and want to get more. It’s also vegan, natural and cruelty free! Keeps Me Hydrated: 10/10
I use this serum after I cleanse during my morning skincare routine and it’s a great base before my toner. I wish I had had this product during the harsh east coast winters that my skin used to suffer through for months. Since I do live in SoCal, I cannot confirm if this does help make winter dry skin better, but I feel like it would? I did use when I was home for Christmas for about 2 weeks and my skin didn’t get dry at all, so take what you will from that. Keeps Me Hydrated: 8/10
My holy grail hair care item, I have wavy/curly, frizz prone hair that’s color treated and heat damaged, and this stuff just infiltrates my waves and tames them into looking somewhat behaved. It doesn’t leave my hair slick or crunchy, though I have heard complaints of that happening if you use too much. It smells great and this is another one where a little goes a long way, but I do wish the bottle were a bit bigger. Keeps Me Hydrated: 9/10
Any hydrating skin care products that you recommend as one of your must-haves? Let me know in the comments, I’m always looking to try something new!
